Nayla Lewis, CMT, Certified in Integrative Yoga Therapy.
Nayla Lewis is Certified Massage Therapist, and a Certified Integrative Yoga Therapy Instructor. Nayla began Iyengar-style yoga training at the Center for Yoga of Seattle in 1994, continued with Integrative Yoga Therapy in Sedona, Arizona in 1996, and completed an Advanced Integrative Yoga Therapy Training in Estes Park, Colorado in 1999. She is currently in an Integrative Yoga Masters Program. In addition, she is certified in Restorative Yoga, Pilates Mat work, and Yogilates. She is a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Nayla became a Certified Massage Therapist through New Life Institute in Redding California in 1996. She has also completed trainings in Reflexology, Reiki – Levels 1 & 2, Reconnective Healing, and Exceptional Therapy, which she incorporates in her practice. Nayla is a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist Intern studying at the California College of Ayurveda in Grass Valley, California. She plans to graduate in October 2005, as a Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma Specialist. For the next six months, she is accepting clients at a special rate, to fulfill her graduation requirements. Nayla has lived in Redding all of her life and enjoys a successful full-time private practice in massage therapy, yoga, and Ayurvedic medicine. She has a special interest in working with and improving the health of Senior Citizens and people of any age who are physically challenged. She enjoys skiing, canoeing, knitting, singing, belly dancing, and her dog Mitsu.
