In Class Tips:

Please do not step on other students yoga mats!

Always let your teacher know if you have any injuries or special health conditions.

Listen to your body, pushing yourself beyond comfort and pain is not part of any yoga practice.

Do not come to class if you have any contagious condition.

Please be on time for your class.  No yogis will be admitted 5 minutes after a class begins.  This insures all students experience an appropriate warm up and minimizes class disruptions.

Help us keep the studio well organized.  If you use props, please, take the time to replace them in their "proper" space!

It is ok to sweat during practice.  It assists the purification process through movement and heat.  Bring your own towel or practice rug to absorb sweat--our blankets are not to be used for the purpose!

If you find your mat is "slippery" we suggest bringing a towel to class.  We also suggest diluting eucalyptus oil in water and spraying it on your hands or mat to help with the sliding!

No food or beverages in the practice area.  Bottled water in a tightly sealed container is ok.

Please do not enter or leave a studio when the class is centering, in savasana or in meditation.  Let your teacher know if you have to leave class early.

If a student arrives late, be gracious and make room!

Please keep the yoga room tidy during class by placing all personal belongings (wallets etc) on the shelves provided inside the yoga rooms or in the dressing room areas, not near your mats.

Find comfort and ease and stability in your practice.  Struggling and straining are not part of the practice.
