Preventing Yoga Injuries... One of the best ways to prevent injuries is to really listen to your body's signals. We are a society of "no pain - no gain". This is not the case with a yoga practice. Pain is a RED LIGHT meaning STOP! Discomfort is a yellow light, meaning go slow or back off. We want to learn to RELEASE into a deep stretch, not force our way there.
